Corrective Colour Concealers

  • Natural - Hides Imperfections
  • White - Highlights and Blends
  • Green - Gets Red Out

.

Natural - Hides Imperfections. Natural is a reformulated version of CandleLight ShadowSense, but makes the perfect highlighter, or use to lessen and lighten the load of pesky under eye baggage.

White Blender - When mixed with any of our liquid or cream (SenseCosmetics) products, White Blender lightens the shade and intensity of the colour that you have chosen and intensifies its luminosity.

Green - Gets the Red Out. By using this Green Concealer under your foundation you can tone down redness, such as broken capillaries on or around the nose bridge area and coloured cheeks, as well as those pesky, inflamed pimples.

General Beauty Tips

  • Highlight your best features with lighter colours.
  • Reduce the appearance of fine lines and flaws with
       darker shades (which reflect light).
  • Apply Concealers in a thin layer, lightly dab any
imperfections and repeat if necessary to build.
To conceal darkness and bags under the eyes

Place the concealer on the shadow beneath the bag, not the bag itself; otherwise you’ll end up highlighting, rather than hiding the problem.

Colour Correctors or Concealers are always applied before foundation. They work by using opposing colours to counteract specific flaws and their purpose is to even out skin tone. Good concealing is all about light and colour. Highlight your best features with light colours. Reduce the appearance of fine lines and flaws with light reflection or darker shades.

Tip for Fun in the Sun

Everyone's skin turns a few shades darker in the summertime, even if you're diligent about applying sun protection. If you're tan and want to cover only imperfections, apply a concealer that's at least one shade darker than your regular colour, then brush on a SeneDerm® Translucid Powder in place of a foundation.

How do I find the right concealer shade for me?

To choose a neutral all-around concealer in your same skin tone family, apply a test shade to the centre of your face (next to your nose) and dab it outward toward your jaw line — it should disappear and blend perfectly. If makeup sits up on your skin and you can see where you're putting it, it is the wrong colour. Does it look too yellow? Try a cooler shade. If it looks too pinkish, go for a warmer tone.

How can I make concealer look natural?

Our creamy concealer makes this job much easier but good blending is the key! After choosing the right shade for your specific requirement and skin tone, dot concealer in needed areas. Pat gently using a cosmetic sponge or blender brush, then layer foundation over the concealer and gently pat until the two is blended together. Set with a light brushing of SeneDerm® Translucid Loose Powder and you are ready to go!

How do I get rid of dark circles under my eyes

Dark circles can be the result of lack of sleep, stress, staring at the computer for long periods of time, not drinking enough water, working late hours or simply heredity. All of these can be minimized and controlled … with the exception of heredity.

To conceal darkness and bags under the eyes, place the concealer on the shadow beneath the bag, not the bag itself; otherwise you’ll end up highlighting, rather than hiding the problem.

Product Bonus Tip

Remove years from your face by applying a slightly lighter concealer to the little downward turning lines at the corner of your mouth.
